What are Dermal Fillers?
Fillers are non-surgical cosmetic treatments that are referred to as a dermal filler. Most fillers contain hyaluronic acid which is used to improve signs of aging in the face and in restoring facial contours.
Hyaluronic acid is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced in the body. The largest amounts are found in the skin, connective tissue and eyes. Hyaluronic acid’s main function is to retain water and keep tissues well lubricated and moist.
What is the difference between Xeomin and Fillers?
Xeomin is a purified protein that relaxes the muscles that cause fine lines, wrinkles and folds. Fillers fill in the lines and folds to eliminate the wrinkles and smooth the skin.
